A BEEF & WINE PAIRING FEATURING OLABISI WINES
 
Picture this. Beef and wine - one of the most iconic culinary duos to ever grace the pairing stage - served under the stars, at the heart of the Vera Earl Ranch. Featuring six unique dishes, prepared by six different local chefs, all paired with a different wine by Olabisi Wines of Napa Valley. 
 
About six months ago, the owner of Olabisi, Ted Osborne, reached out to us with a unique idea that revolved around a collaboration between two unique, boutique-style, family-owned companies. With a lot of back and forth, several video calls, and some sampling packages later, an idea was born.
 
Sonoita is located in the heart of both ranch and wine country. Olabisi is obviously from one of the most well-known wine regions in the world. What better way to honor both of our roots, than by taking the idea of a collaboration to fruition by featuring what we each do best? And thus, the concept of our wine dinner was born.
 
The intimate evening will commence with a welcome pour upon arrival, with a steady stream of unique culinary creations following suit. Each course will be presented by the coordinating chef, as each wine will be presented by either the winemaker himself, Ted Osborne, or his son, Kili, both of which will be joining us.
 
Some of the chefs in question include Executive Chef Danny Perez of the Arizona Sands Club (Tucson), Executive Chef David Bishop of Merit Foods (Tucson, and our local distribution partners), and Executive Chef Trevor Routman of Los Milics (Elgin). The menu is in the final stages of preparation, but rest assured each course will reflect that chef’s unique flavor profiles, and, of course, feature beef in one fashion or another.
